Casa chapi that is
Funded by the association of U.S. Alpaca breeders known as Quechua Benefit. Home base is Hillsboro, Oregon. 89% of donations are directed to their efforts. [not bad, ehh]
The organization derives no benefit from their efforts, other than knowing that fellow alpaca ranchers/breeders have an improved life.....that's it.
O K, so, for two weeks out of the year QB transforms the school into a medical/dental/optical clinic. [yes, there is such a thing as a portable dental chair, but you nor I would ever see one in our lives normally] we try to organize the flow of anxious people who might not see another health practitioner for a year.
Then more waiting in plastic chairs outside the clinic to fill out basic paperwork and see the triage person.
The next person in line comes in to fill out papers and tell why they came.
Then down the hall to the right practitioner. .
Next they come to The optical area, if that's what they need.
Then, after the screening for distance and close vision....they, patiently, wait more
If needed they see Ruthie for refraction
Then, Darryl fits the glasses to the person's face.
The end result? One very happy little girl and her father. Now his hija can do well in school and have a better life
